Does SLEEP DNA® work if you adopt different sleep positions?
A bed adapted to your personal SLEEP DNA® is comfortable in all sleeping positions. How is this possible? Your SLEEP DNA® is determined by the pressure points of your body on the bed. Whatever position you take, these pressure points (shoulders, lumbar zone, pelvis / hips) always remain the same. Even if you toss and turn a lot in your sleep? Yes, even then.
The position of your body on the bed is determined by the pillow. This rests against the head of the bed and is therefore firmly positioned. Your head is on the pillow and your shoulders are against it. The rest of your body automatically falls into place. Because your neck, spine and pelvis are connected to each other, the distance between these parts of the body always remains the same. You may believe that you move a lot during your sleep, but these are mainly your arms and legs. Whether you sleep with your arms by your side or above you, with your legs raised or stretched, lie on your stomach, back or side: the position between your shoulders, lumbar zone and pelvis remains virtually stable. Even if you are diagonally opposite to the longitudinal axis of your mattress. The Ergosleep® beds also contain a 2x4 cm ‘play area’ between each adjustment zone. Thus allowing sufficient enough space to accommodate all movements during your night's rest.
It goes without saying that the above applies only if you sleep in a bed that supports your body perfectly. Beds that do not offer this support create awakening stimuli. These lead to restless sleep, in which your body constantly and unsuccessfully seeks different / better positions.
